From its beginnings as a one-woman company, Kate Davies Designs has grown

developed into a small, successful creative company,

encompassing many different aspects of design and manufacture in the west of Scotland.

Whether it's a sweater or a poem, everything Kate does is idea-driven: she likes to make things and to think about making things.

Her work combines the critical with the creative, the stimulating with the practical.

In 2015 she started developing her own yarn brands that stand for regional and sustainable work.

Over the past decade Kate Davies has created over 20 beautiful books including acclaimed titles such as Wheesht and Shetland Oo, all expertly produced by Bell & Bain in Glasgow.
