A little book of moon - inspired shawls
Pauliina Kuunsola

Sprache: Englisch A small book of moon-inspired scarves is an expression of gratitude for the moon in knitted form. This booklet contains nine scarf patterns inspired by the phases of the moon. The designs feature different scarf shapes like crescent, asymmetrical triangle and pi, as well as different textures - there's even a bit of embroidery! The booklet is much more than just a collection of knitting patterns. It offers a unique insight into the moon, its cyclical nature and the beliefs associated with it. There are also tips for dealing with the moon and insights into how the phases of the moon can be used as a guide for other things in life, including knitting. Enjoy your knitting journey through the days of the lunar cycle and dip your toes in its mystical shadows and illuminating light! Pauliina Kuunsola is a knitwear designer and technical writer who works as a senior editor at Laine Publishing. She enjoys designing patterns that are relaxing to knit and loves exploring the endless possibilities of simple stitches and stitch patterns. Pauliina is inspired by colors, textures, nature, the night sky and the mystical realms.

Serving such a creative, artistic, and multicultural community directly inspired this collaborative collection. Designers and shop owners Stephanie Earp and Naomi Endicott have put together a range of patterns that have something for every knitter.
